{"id":314878,"date":"2016-04-28T18:44:18","date_gmt":"2016-04-28T17:44:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/barcelonaroomcom.fatcow.com\/websites\/bcn\/?post_type=location&#038;p=314878"},"modified":"2016-04-28T18:45:00","modified_gmt":"2016-04-28T17:45:00","slug":"sant-marti","status":"publish","type":"location","link":"https:\/\/barcelonaroom.com\/es\/location\/europe\/spain\/barcelona\/sant-marti\/","title":{"rendered":"Sant Mart\u00ec"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Sant Mart\u00ed<\/b> (<small>Catalan pronunciation:\u00a0<\/small><span class=\"IPA\" title=\"Representation in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA)\">[\u02c8sam m\u0259r\u02c8ti]<\/span>), is a district of Barcelona located on its eastern side, usually numbered 10 out of the ten districts of the city.<\/p>\n<p>It borders the Mediterranean sea, Sant Adri\u00e0 del Bes\u00f2s and four other districts of the city: Ciutat Vella, l&#8217;Eixample, Horta-Guinard\u00f3 and Sant Andreu.<\/p>\n<p>It did not become an integral part of Barcelona until as late as 1897, having been an autonomous village since 1714 with the imposition of the infamous Nueva Planta decrees.
